1. There are three types of champagne glasses

There are three types of vessels: flute shaped, tulip shaped, and shallow champagne saucer.

Flute shaped cup: called a Champagne flute (English: Champagne flute, French: Flû te à Champagne), with a slender body. The flute shaped cup body can prevent the bubbles of the wine from easily dissipating, making champagne more delicious.

Tulip shaped: As Champagne itself is a white wine, the difference is foaming. Therefore, when drinking Champagne, a wine glass shaped glass is also used, but it tends to be more streamlined than the overall shape of the wine glass. The body of the glass is slender, resembling tulip flowers, with a small mouth and a large belly. It can capture the aroma of wine and is generally used to drink champagne produced in the Champagne region of France and grape sparkling wines produced in other countries and regions. You can drink it slowly and fully appreciate the pleasure of the wine frothing in the glass.

Shallow Champagne Cup (Cocktail Cup): Refers to a specially shaped tall glass that can be used to build champagne fountains for weddings and other festive occasions, for guests to drink champagne during ceremonies, or for other occasions, such as drinking cocktails and eating Western snacks in bars and restaurants.

Shallow plate champagne glasses come in two different shapes, European and North American, both of which can be used for cocktails and as containers for snacks. The difference between the two is that the European style cup has a round and soft body; The North American style cup has a triangular body with straight and firm lines. This shallow champagne glass also has another name called a cocktail glass.

2. Champagne glass types
