For your red wines, we recommend the Bordeaux glasses normally used for all Bordeaux varieties, such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Malbec, etc. It has a bowl big enough to allow the oxygen to come into contact with the wine, allowing the aromas to become more concentrated so you can easily detect them. For white wines, you'll want two types of wine glasses - one with a wider bowl and rim for less aromatic varieties like Chardonnay, and one with a narrower bowl and rim for Sauvignon Blanc and Victoria Highly aromatic white wines such as Ernie.

As for the bubbles, the flute will show off and preserve the bubbles, but because the flute is so narrow, it can be difficult to capture some of the complex aromas in sparkling wine. The tulip glass also retains the bubbles of the wine and has a slightly wider bowl to release more aromas. If your goal is to enjoy the aroma and you can reduce some of the bubbles, try pouring the sparkling wine into a white wine glass.
