1. What is engraving? When the engraving method is used to decorate glassware, the design is physically engraved into the glass surface. The result is an elegant and even pattern that appears in a matte white natural color. Engraving is different from other methods of decoration because the design really becomes part of the glass surface, glass cookware.

2.Second, the method of carving? Primarily sandblasting, this is the preferred method for engraving glass. A separate film mask/stencil was made and hand-applied to each glass, then "sandblasted" with high pressure air and abrasive streams in the cabinet. Mask protection will keep clear glass areas, while abrasives will etch away the glass in the areas to be engraved.

3. Is the engraving permanent? Yes, it is. It is engraved on the glass surface. Unlike other decorating methods, it will not be washed, chipped or worn. The engraved glass can be machine washed many times

4. Are there any restrictions on engraving? The main limitation is color. While engraved glassware has a more elegant appearance and can last forever, it is limited to the frosted white color of the etched glass. Also, when engraved glass is wet, their patterns become subtle as they lose some of their contrast until they dry out again. Decorate glassware with a higher contrast color, generally consider screen printing or digital 4 printing.
