After drinking, the wine glass needs to be cleaned on the same day. Red wine glasses are fragile items, and high-end crystal glasses are even more expensive. Therefore, they should not be mixed with ceramic utensils, knives and forks, and other tableware for washing. I also do not recommend using a dishwasher for washing. Some luxury decorated kitchens in China may have such a dishwasher, but it is not as good as a foreign designed dishwasher specifically for cleaning wine glasses.

So it's better to wash by hand. First, soak in hot water, then rinse with distilled water, and wipe dry with a pure cotton cloth. In addition, red wine glasses should be cleaned immediately after use. When washing, you can also wash it with a mild detergent first, then rinse it with hot water, and finally wipe it dry with a dry cloth that does not leave cotton wool. It is best to hang it upside down on the cup holder or place the cup mouth facing upwards to avoid the accumulation of certain odors, and then store it in the wine cabinet.

Note that when washing a wine glass, be sure to hold the body of the glass and not the foot of the glass. Remember not to invert the wine glass on paper products, as the smell of pulp has a certain impact on the taste. Wine glasses that are left on the shelf for a long time are prone to dust and the smell of rosin or wood. Before use, they should be wiped with a cloth dipped in heavy sodium sulfate or borax, and then washed with water. It can be seen that drinking a glass of red wine is very particular from beginning to end, it depends on how you pay attention.

The correct posture for cleaning wine glasses: Red wine glasses are usually fragile, so when washing wine glasses, be sure to hold the body of the glass and not hold the foot of the glass with just one hand. Otherwise, with a gentle turn, the valuable crystal glass can easily break.
