How to choose household glass?



There are five kinds of glass that can be purchased by families: flat glass, tempered glass, insulating glass, laminated glass and Ga steel membrane glass. So how to choose the most suitable glass， Glass product  ?

1. Flat glass



The earliest appearance of flat glass was this type. The advantage of flat glass is that it has good flatness, no water ripples, and the price is relatively affordable. However, the disadvantage is poor safety, it is easy to break, and it may be broken by wind or strong sound, and the sound insulation effect is not very good. Nowadays, this type of glass is rarely chosen for new house decoration.



2. Tempered glass

3. Hollow glass

4. Laminated glass



Laminated glass is bonded between glass and glass through PVB film. Laminated glass can also be divided into many types. Generally, plane laminated glass is used more frequently in home decoration. The advantages of laminated glass are very high safety, not easy to break, and good sound insulation effect. Because the film inside can effectively block the transmission of external sound to the interior, the most important is the anti ultraviolet effect, it can protect furniture and is more suitable for windows installed in the balcony. 5. Steel film glass



Steel coated glass is a kind of metal or alloy compound that can be coated with one or more layers on the surface of glass. There are also three types of steel coated glass. Low radiation coated glass is commonly used in home decoration. It has high reflectivity to infrared rays, good heat insulation and energy saving effects.
