Tempered glass

Tempered glass is a glass product obtained by heating the glass to a temperature close to the softening temperature of the glass (600-650 ℃) and rapidly cooling or chemically tempering it, Glass product .

It has good mechanical properties and thermal shock resistance.

After heat treatment in a tempering furnace, the structural properties of the original glass have been improved, resulting in a strength increase of 3-5 times. It can withstand external impacts or temperature changes of a certain amount of energy without breaking.

Even if broken, the entire piece of glass is broken into small obtuse angle particles resembling honeycomb, which is not easy to harm people and thus has a certain degree of safety. Tempered glass cannot be cut, it needs to be cut to size before tempering and has the characteristic of "self explosion". According to different purposes, tempered glass can be divided into various types such as fully tempered glass, semi tempered glass, area tempered glass, flat tempered glass, and bent tempered glass.

Scope of application: glass doors, glass curtain walls of advanced buildings, escalator fences, Telephone booth and display cabinets.
