The difference between a Chardonnay glass and a Bordeaux glass:

Chardonnay white wines are high in alcohol, low in fruit acid and full-bodied. It is also a small volume white wine glass. The Chardonnay glass and the Burgundy red wine glass have a similar pot-bellied glass body, and the steeper glass wall can make the diffusion effect of the wine entrance better. When entering the mouth, it first flows to the middle of the tongue, and then spreads out in all directions, so that the various components of the wine can produce a harmonious feeling, glass cookware    .

1. The cup body is different.

A Chardonnay glass has a larger and slightly shallower belly, and a Bordeaux glass looks more slender and taller, although the belly is slightly smaller than a Chardonnay glass.

2. The contact area with oxygen is different.

Chardonnay glass is a large mouth glass similar to red wine glass, which is conducive to the contact between wine and air, and promotes the contact between wine and oxygen, and the contact area is relatively large. The Bordeaux glass also has enough space to contact oxygen, but the contact area is smaller than that of the Chardonnay glass.

3, with different wine.

Chardonnay glasses are suitable for those white wines that have been aged in oak barrels, usually these white wines have obvious tropical or citrus fruit, vanilla, spices, tobacco and other aromas. Conversely, those lean, tart white wines are not suitable for too much oxygen exposure, so a wine glass with a smaller belly and a narrow neck is more suitable. The Bordeaux glass makes Bordeaux wines softer, more delicate and silky in structure. The special curvature of the glass body guides the wine directly to the root of the tongue, effectively prolonging the residence time of the aroma of the wine in the mouth.
