Introduction to the production process of glass bottles:

The glass bottle production process mainly includes the steps of raw material preprocessing, glasscookware, batch preparation, melting, forming, and heat treatment. Raw material preprocessing is to pulverize bulk raw materials (quartz sand, soda ash, limestone, feldspar, etc.), dry wet raw materials, and remove iron from iron-containing raw materials to ensure the quality of glass. Batch preparation and melting, that is, the glass batch is heated at a high temperature of 1550~1600 degrees in a pool kiln or pool furnace to form a uniform, bubble-free liquid glass that meets the molding requirements. Forming is to put the liquid glass into a mold to make glass products of the required shape, such as flat plates, various utensils and other heat treatment. Heat treatment is to eliminate or generate stress, phase separation or crystallization inside the glass, and change the structural state of the glass through annealing, quenching and other processes.

In addition, some glass products can be hardened in order to increase their strength. Including: Physical stiffening (quenching) for thicker glasses, table glass, car windshields, etc. And chemical stiffening (ion exchange), used in watch cover glass, aviation glass, etc. The principle of stiffening is to generate compressive stress on the glass surface layer to increase its strength.

Sometimes, according to the different needs of customers, glass bottle manufacturers also need to draw various exquisite patterns on the surface of glass bottles, which is what we often see on glass bottles. Therefore, it is not only necessary to have superb technology in the production process, but also to have ingenious design capabilities.
