How to open the plastic cap of a glass bottle

There are three ways to open it.

1. Hold the bottle and the cap with a wrung wet towel to increase friction, and some will be unscrewed as soon as they are twisted.

2. If it doesn't work, scald the cover in boiling water or bake it on the fire, one will soften, the other will expand, and it will open with a gentle twist, glasssaucepan.

3. If it is a metal cover, in addition to the above methods, you can also use a flat-blade screwdriver to pry the cover with moderate force. The metal is malleable and can be easily loosened.

The first move: "hot break". Soak the jar in a pot, heat it with 80 degrees Celsius water for half a minute (note that the heating time should not be too long), or pour the bottle cap with hot water for a few minutes, then pull the lid hard, and the lid can be opened.

The second trick: "side-knocking". After tilting the glass bottle at a 45-degree angle, hold the bottle tightly, tap the bottom of the jar, and the lid will open. The principle is to give the can an impulse, the bottle body is stationary, and the bottle cap part will continue to move due to inertia, and the direction is the direction away from the bottle cap, and it will be loose. On the other hand, due to the long sealing time of the jar, it is difficult to pull out due to the intermolecular force, and knocking the bottle cap also has the effect of breaking the intermolecular force.

The third trick: "broken knife" or "broken spoon". Use metal knives or sharp tools such as spoons, chopsticks, keys, etc., to find the gap between the glass jar and the lid, and pry the lid along the glass edge of the bottle, similar to the method of opening the beer bottle cap. Before prying, wrap in a paper towel to increase the coefficient of friction.
